I Believe it is the CFCA with the twin turbo that has been giving a lot people grief
2017 VW T6 3200KG GVM LWB 132kW 7 Speed DSG (Campervan Conversion)
I have the CAAC, and also understand this issue to be related to the twin turbo perhaps as a result of the extra heat. I do wonder if it is worth upgrading my EGR to a D version for piece of mind though. Are there many reports of oil use issues with sigle turbo engines running earlier revisions of the EGR? (EG A, B, C)
I think the issue was the egr cooler that was used on the cfca being a poorer material. Thus breaking down and sending shrapnel through the cylinders.

I stand to be corrected but it is my understanding that the egr on 180hp is different to 140hp, 140 hp egr external to engine,
180hp twin turbo egr is internal, also I would think the egr suffix unique to twin turbo ?
That’s the whole issue with the 180hp, if the egr cooler was seperate or outside of the engine the whole issue would be simplified
Again, that’s my understanding, please correct me if I’m wrong.
Got all excited with Repcos oil bonanza special only to learn that the 507 spec not on special !
