Trouble shooting T4 EX ambo

OK for the DIY buffs here is a few problems I have just sorted not without some pain .
Elsawin software is not real helpfull & hard to use when you are searching faults as I did . Drivers side door electric window would not close so van could not be locked bugger many hours in Elsawin wasted , finaly got door trim off without breaking stuff found colour codes in ELSWIN finaly started to make sence after poking old school compas point through wireing found broken earth wire to winder motor was broken inturnaly at door rubber boot ,pulled new Oxygen free wire through with a long Ziptie spliced it in to the harness job done . time 2 days 4 cans 4xxxx big smiles.
Next cant shut the fresh air vent , Aircon was crapy searched electricals all working no vacuume to work slave cylinders ?. Being Diesel they have vacuume pump to work brakes & other vent systems .
After a real good look about for the second time traced the fault under the aftercooler where 2 small junctions in the pipe to the brake booster are hidden the right hand one has about 300mm of plastic tube heading for the firewall where it joines the rubber hoses that work other engine tasks from the EMS .
Rejoin hoses & total time 4 hours + 2cans 4xxxx.saved heaps of AU$ now they are worth more feels good
2011 is starting to look up air con working great lifes kool . TC

Thanks David for taking the trouble to share your experiences & successes. It seems to me that too many owners are paying through the nose for breakdowns that with some DIY time & resolve can have a good result. Keep up the good work, I am sure it will help someone with the same symptoms in the future.
