Transporter Multivan 2012 T5 drivers door latch failed microswitch workaround.

I posted on this some time ago mentioning I didn't feel confident pulling the latch/lock unit out. This is information only in case anyone else wants to.

    - Central locking had failed, including window wind-up and rear door lock (no manual keyhole)
    - Central unlocking worked fine
    - Dash warning indicator stayed on (cause for failing safety check in this state/country)

    In photo attached
    - Thick wires I assume carried solenoid current
    - Thin wires are sensor signals tied to 12V at the logic unit end via resistor. ie the line is taken to ground at the microswitches.
    - Yellow/blue was normally at 12V (10-14V) unless the manual key was turned fully one way or the other when it dropped to 0V. No doubt the central locking/unlocking when using the key rather than the remote.
    - Green yellow was at 0V till I cut it and to be honest I couldn't reason its actual function. With it cut all the door locks gave a thump (unlock?) when the ignition was turned on. I had a jumper on it this photo till resoldering.
    - Black was at 0V till I cut it. It now thinks the door is always shut. That can cause some odd behaviour, like it relocks when I get back into the van without starting etc.

I hope someone will find this useful.Transporter Multivan 2012 T5 drivers door latch failed microswitch workaround.-2018-06-13-01-gypsy-door-wiring-mod-dscn6977-jpg

The green wire connects directly and only to the control module.
