its a 2010,Im not a 100% sure its an DSG, but i cant find that filter listed anywhere for my van, the only one that comes close is on ecstuning.com
but there are for jetta, beetle, golf and passat which acording to that web site there are DSG, so thats why i figured mine was DSG. ryco listings are for RTK99 and RTK121 for 2010 transporter, but are not whats in it.

The 7 sped DSG in the Transporter is not the same as those in the Passat, Golf, Polo etc.

A decent VW parts department should be able to get this in for you. That is once they have got over their "sealed for life" brainwashing and actually looked into it.

Yes the passengers cars had DSG long before they fitted them to the Transporters , only Transporters were fitted with DSG around mid to late 2010 when the T5.1 upgrade was released . I think the dealers would have them as our local tranny place replaced ours at the rebuild time .Here is a selection on Ebay might be worth a look .ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_nkw=vw+transporter+auto+transmission This is the part number but check first 09K 325 429, 09K325429

    That's not a DSG.

The DSG has the filter on top. That's the Tiptronic conventional automatic.

Since you're on the Central Coast, Tooleys in Hornsby will have everything you need (the correct oil, filter, and pan gasket). They'll be open again tomorrow.

Hi guys without sounding like a smarty, that filter above is from a conventional 6 speed automatic transmission and not a DSG, the diagnosis is completely different.
    Cheers

I think we have convinced him of that fact , I suppose not many owners would know the huge difference in the two boxes . I knew as I have both models and had a problem with our Tiptronic one and have seen its intestines up close .
