I have this problem on MY10 103kw. It happened at 18,000k and again before 40k and was replaced under warranty but unfortunately it is back at 90,000.<br>Is there anybody in the Brisbane to northern NSW area who knows how to do the EGR delete? I have the blanking plates...Thanks in advance.

I also have the same regard for the EGR if ours fails it is GONE no second chance , blanking plate will be the answer .

Mine is on its 3rd EGR valve. Common problem. Supposedly, the last one to go in is the new improved model.
Luckily mine were all done under warranty.

Just to add I had mine replaced around 40k under warranty. Haven't had a repeat yet at 98k. Fingers crossed.

Just bought a 2012 T5 400 with 87500k and on the third day the catalytic converter light comes on.
Needs a new EGR at $1500 and out of warranty by 3 months.
Has anyone successfully removed this part to the bin and blanked it off?

    Keith
