Tranny on a T4, now for something different, could need a little help !!

Now a weird one : When I'm driving, all gears on the display are dark bordered as if all gears are actuated at once even if in drive ! Another thing, sometimes the display comes "good" but when that happens, at occasions the bars jump between D and N (yes, also the actual drive drops in and out), I am sure that the problem is electrical but have no access to a diagram for the tranny, when I first start up, I hear the (immobilizer) relay click in and then another relay, when the second relay clicks on, the indicator screen goes as described. Has anyone ever had, seen or heard about what could cause this and how to fix ? Oh, also, when the screen comes "good" sometimes, the indication can be all wrong, ie showing D when really in N or even R. When this happens it sort of feels as if moving the stick is really hard. Any ideas ? and also, if anyone has the diagram over the tranny circuit - excellent !!

Lucky thing I've already shaved my head !!

Could it be that the lever is not adjusted correctly and it is between N and D. That would make it change between gears, could make the lights flicker as strong current is not getting through and the click could be the auto lockout mechanism.

Has someone done work on the Transmission recently??

Yes, but "only" oil change so in reality that should not have made anything to the lever, right ? I did bring it in for an oil change because I started noticing slipping every now and then when reversing out of my inclined driveway. I am not sure if the lights (and dropouts) happened just before the oil change, I got a bit extra concerned the day before because that day the slipping became quite bad, however, I've had the garage open up the tranny twice since I first noticed the problem just to make sure they did not screw things up, at the second pan removal I also asked them to adjust the pressure in case that was what was causing all the problem, but no, the problem is still there, noticed "crisper" gear changes after the adjustment, much better, but .... now I'm thinking that maybe I forced them to redo the job unnecessarily, maybe I had the problem before !

Question: The lever as such on this box, is that just moving over electrical connections as opposed to a fully mechanical switch ? I was thinking (correct me if I'm wrong) that maybe the "receiver" junction may have moved.

    Thank you
