Sorry can't help with the question, but IMO, get the dealer to do it.
Did you ask the towbar fitters if they would do the job if you supplied the loom for them?
I have a MY13 Multivan that has towbar prep factory installed which I understand is a plug in the rear panel of the van ready to accept connection to Towbar I understand some programing is also required. Most Towbar fitters I have contacted wont/cant use it. Has anyone used a installer in Melbourne that was able to use the factory connector? Other option is to get dealer to fit it which is about double the cost....
Cheers

I am about to go down this similar route soon so I have to face up to the fact that the good old days of just tapping into the rear lights are gone , I also noted in the manual that I have to change the tail lights on the trailer as it says not to use LED ,s WTF is going on today with cars .
My trailer has LED's and I have no problems.
Page 164 "Quote" Notice - Do not use a trailer with LED taillights . The LED taillights can damage your vehicles electronics . What does one do ?
No, didn't think of sourcing the loom myself , I guess they would be available after market, any ideas where to source one ?
The dealer explained that they can supply a $200 optional box that will allow connection to an led trailer…
Maybe you can call Veh-Quip in Ferntree Gully. They fit a lot of options for Burwins and installed some options for me that I organised and the dealer took care of..

Have a talk to Alistair down there, he's pretty switched on with this stuff
They made up their own loom for the earlier models that solved a lot of problems
