Need to work out how wide and big I can go
Can't help with the tyres however maybe you could post about your order in a new thread.

    Merry Christmas to all.

I got new tyres about 3 months ago. I have a mate at a tyre shop and he got me some Yokohama dBV550 at the right price I have done about 5k now and they still look new. They run very quite and have heaps of grip! 235/60/16 104W

I got about 30k out of the hankooks.

Scuse me poking my head in, noticed the talk on tyres.
I currently have a couple of T4's and recently changed one of them to a new Maxxis tyre (15"), which have been bought out for light commercials.
I've heard good and bad on Maxxis, but was initially impressed with gaining 50 ks per tank.
The tyres are rated to 70 psi, and I run them on 55
So far grip is just as good as Michelin Agilus?, better than Goodyear Cargo, and are quiet (sort of, diesel Transporters aren't really known for stealth!)
Picking up a second hand Highline on Sunday, and by coincidence the owner has just fitted 17" Maxxis.
If anyones interested, I can get the specs of both tyres and post.

I had Maxxis on my Landcruiser, they did 80k and still had tread. I also have some on our second car and they are good. I was going to look into them for the Multivan but my mate got me such a good eal on the Yokies I had to get them.

What model do Maxxis do you have?

I have Maxxis on both my mountain bikes LOL>

15" Maxxis MA 579 on my T4, Ivo
I pick up the Highline tomorrow (hopefully), I'll see what model 17" are on that, and I'll ask the guy what he paid for them.

And I run Maxxis on my training wheels on my road bike, they're the best cut and puncture resistant bike tyre I've come across.

If they are available locally I notice that Maxxis do an extreme offroad tyre that will fit the T4 and maintain its load rating - the M8060 Trepador

As for the MA-579.....it's obviously an Asian market only tyre....like the GT Radial brand. Finally we are able to get hold of decent and cheap tyres for our little prides & joy....

After 88,256 km on my original Michelin Agilis 51 215/65/16 and they had a bit more however I started to get more wheel spin on greasy roads and i think we'll have a wet winter in Vic (finally) I bought Pirelli Chrono which have a higher load rating. Tyres seem a bit more firm and maybe slightly quieter but not hugely different. Tyre centre filled them with Nitrogen, which I hadn't asked for as they mixed the job cards up so now I have bright red valve covers, lol.

When I first enquired about the Hankook Dynapro's they told me they didn't come in the same load rating for 215/65/16's to which I then called Hankook in Sydney and was told the same , so chose the Pirelli's at $260 each fitted.

Thanks for the pic on the Maxxis, Seano. I couldn't find anything on them.
    That's the size I've got, just in a 65.
    And at $180 a corner, I couldn't say no
