You should find out how much the shipping would be to the UK and then stick it on..

My mother owns a Passat Sport 1.8T, it was rather sluggish when we first got it but after a service fixing a few sensors and 2 vacuum leaks it really goes well now. After about 80km's (5sp semi-auto) its dramatically quicker than my golf, the one you drove must have had a few problems, or I just drive an exceptionally slow carI'd say it'd be only a touch slower than a falcon on full tilt.
They do go fairly well, surprisingly well AND wagons are just Uber cool...

My radar is telling me that Caravelle's are becoming increasingly sought after. Great size, great comfort, classic VW feel.
A VW specialist also just recently mentioned to me that he is noting increasing interest in Caravelle T3s specifically as well.
Well, its good news. There is a healthy market for T3 Caravelles going by the number of enquiries and inspections that came our way. The vehicle sold to an enthusiast - so hoping he gets lots of good use out of it.
Thank you for the encouragement with the sale.
And now ready to talk Passat Variant 1.8T - we are very happy with it. Smooth, quiet, lots of gadgets to play with. No problems with performance - my daily driver is a Golf Gti for comparison - and the fuel use is so much less than the Caravelle, we are laughing.
Congrats on the sale Paul. What sort of economy did you get out of your Caravelle incidently?
