Is the T6 suspension system the same as T5?

Hey all,

Recently just put an order in for a new T6 4 motion and want to know if the suspension system is the same as the T5 as I have a full suspension kit off my T5 I'd like to install. Can anyone confirm that the suspension in the T5's and T'6s are the same?

That will be a bit hard unless someone has one already and can do a comparison , when I bought our new T5.1in 2012 I was able to use it's suspension complete into my 2005 T5 as we fitted Bilstein to the T5.1 . Now I could only suggest you do some comparison of parts once you have the van , it,s not hard to imagine that VW would upgrade the suspension in some way or the other it's a natural thing to do . I was told that Vw did change some part during the T5.1 upgrade but it still fitted my older one .

Front springs, and therefore shocks, may be different due to different engine/trans weights. Likewise for Transporter Vs Multivan.

But, it should all bolt up the same as T5 and T5GP.

Sounds like it'll fit. We'll see how it goes once I get the van.

Lets just say it's a t6 factory build with accessories. 4.5month delivery time.

I hope to pick up my T6 4motion tomorrow (or Monday) and will try to have a look at the suspension compared to our 2012 T5 4motion.
I doubt there is any difference as despite all the "all new T6" hype, they are fundamentally identical vehicles from what I have seen.
