Reply With QuoteYes they have a bit of cheek putting T6 on what is essentially and upgrade from the T5 . Unlike the T4 to T5 change where it was a complete and utter body & mechanical overhaul . I wonder if the Turbo 2.0 petrol will come this time , there have been a few times over the years that I had considered an aftermarket turbo to my 2.0 petrol , but now as its got over 260000kays on the clock a turbo would probably be an engine killer . VW pulled a swifty with the 2.0 petrol they released in 2004 as they put an engine output figure which was supposed to match the old outgoing 2.5 petrol , in reality all they did was add fuel injection and lower the final drive ratio . So a 2.5 at 100 kays is ticking over at 2800 rpm the 2.0 at 100 kays is running at nearly 3200 rpm .
