    Meet my Kombi

    Hello friends...
I´m here today to show you my newest project. It is a VW Kombi 2010/11… fantastic car… full of options that I left behind… including paint. But I installed some accessories like electric windows, locks, tint windows and a radio… it also have Bluetooth.
I had big expectations for the car, I was sure I was buying a 2010/11 car, not a 1960/10/11 model.
The gap on the steering wheel was an optional I didn´t want, but it has… I think it is a commemorative version from the World Cup… full play… it also have a speed limiter… and the gearbox… what a joke… I have to find the gears… reduce from third to second without pay a visit on the fourth gear is impossible… the car could have a stiffer suspension, it is very comfortable but it is too soft… it could have a bigger engine, this car loaded climbing a hill will be a challenge.
Analyzing the facts I started to think in solutions to solve these problems… power steering, Empi shifter and lowering the car was a primary objective.

    Following the history…

I bought a bigger throttle body and the “Flying Torpedo” will also get a supercharger.
I started to research the fuel system and the exhaust system for the supercharger.
I thought in keep the stock exhaust, but it is very fragile, it is printed, pressed, I don´t know how to call it in English…

You can see in the pictures the comparasion between the stock tb, to the "new" one.

I started to research the engine as well… It only rev 5500rpm and on fourth gear it is limited at 4800rpm at 130km/h.
Bellow some pictures from the new exhaust.

New panel cluster… now with rev counter and coolant temperature gauge… I need to use a gizmo to crack the speed signal… it is showing exactly the double in the new speedometer.
