    T6.1 Headlights & improvements?

I've got the standard headlights and I would definitely advise anyone ordering a new van to get the LEDs!

These are so much worse than my standard 2010 headlights. It is actually worrying to drive on a highway at speeds with no streetlights and high-beams arent an option.

Does anyone have any knowledge/experience on replacing the current globes/lights for something better?

    Cheers,

Get some Off-road H4 globes that are more powerful.
    I’ve been using IPF Halogen 110/80 in both T5 & T4.
Higher current drain, but haven’t had an issue with the stock wiring.
I think Hella do them as well.
    Makes a massive difference.
And when you hold the indicator stalk back you get both the low & high beam at same time - good for short bursts !

The good thing about the standard headlights is that one can level them manually for the desired throw distance. The LEDs (judging by the spec only) are listed as self-levelling, so can't be manually turned up or down, I assume.

I have been buying after-market globes for my T5.1, mostly Philips, I found they increase the illumination to sufficient levels.
