Just had a look at the Michelin web site, and the Primacy's don't appear in the 235/55/17 size I need for the T5. Hmmmm. Will try to ring someone.
can anyone suggest a good tyre place in Adelaide?

min wear on a t5 was usually 30k we would report usually bad at that stage you are right tho it does depend on the load cornering so on

    Have just been quoted $247 215 65 16.

Bob Jane says he'll match it.

    BOB JANE at Marion,
    Hankook RA23 235/55/17 $195each 6 month ago. I bought 5 tyres.
Now done 10,000km no visible wear and no difference in performance.

Just received a phone price for the Michelins - $550 each, so it sounds like a good reason to talk to Bob Jane.

The Hankooks have a H rating, while the Michelins have a Y rating. Do we need the Y rating?

No, you don't need Y rating. If you buy Hankooks, you'll be surprised with their performance. And it is not a bad looking tyre either.

    Hey y'all

I can vouch for the GT Radial Maxmiler CX which is available for T5's with 16" wheels (215/65R16C)........great tyre for around town, back roads and long distances (tried it all!) and very affordable. I can also vouch for the Goodyear Cargo G26 in this size.
