T5 Tow Hitch

Hey Guys,

Trying to suss out tow hitch for the van. VW want some serious coin for the HR hitch + VW loom ($572 for some wires) but HR do a loom if you don't have reversing sensors.

There are 2 listed on the HR site, an R and an RW. What have others ordered? I'm looking for just a 50mm hitch type? I believe VW use the HR hitch type standard but I'm unsure on the part number.

Pete I had a HR hitch installed by Melbourne Towbars a little while ago
They've made their own loom which works well
Cost installed was around the 850 mark
And it doesn't have the light protectors, which took me a while to find one that doesn't have

Yeah I know you're not in Melbourne, but if they can do it, surely others can
