Hi

Where's the best place to tap into the reverse light wire on a 2012 T5?

If you are looking for a reverse trigger for your camera it will be in the factory harness at the head unit . I went through the same thing with 3 T5's the first one I was in the process of tapping in to get the trigger and turned on the unit for some reason and the head unit went straight to reverse camera when the gear was engaged . Turns out it is a standard feature .

Easiest way is to use a multi meter and check which one gives power when reverse is engaged .

Yeh I tapped in behind the tail lights. Once the misses got home I tested it and now she's all solvered
