Is he looking for a new job?
Hi
Looking for a VW Transporter T5 rear door white and complete with glass
My apprentice back into a tree, compressed the high mount stop light in, damaged the top section of the door and shatterd the screen.
Is he looking for a new job?
Expensive mistake will be working him into the ground so he doesn't forget
Getting a repair costing done, may not be so bad (still not good damaging the T5)
I've similar damage on my T5 (glass is OK though) - would be interested to hear your repair costs..
Thanks
David
My other half just backed into a high post, and pot a hole right through the outside skin of the rear door on our T5. The repair cost was about $3.5K, of which we had to pay $500 excess. That cost included full replacement of the door, and some work on the bumper as well.
Golf V TDI 2005 - SOLD
Volvo C30 D5 - I've got a hat as well!
Multivan Highline T5 TDI 4Motion 2005
Hond Civic VTI 2001
waiting for a definite costing, but looking like a $1000 fixed
My vehicle excess is $300 add 20yr old driver excess is $1500 Total excess $1800
Should be done next week 2 days off the road (more cost)
I wasn't in the car when it happened, but she has the habit of turning off the reversing sensors cause she doesn't like the noise. I'm not saying this is what happened though ....
Also the point where the post hit was at 1.6 metres off the ground. The way it penetrated the skin would suggest it is a danger to anyone who was to hit it with their head. I should go back and have a look.
