T5 Parking Sensors not working (solved)

A while back I posted a question about parking sensors not working (the post appears to have been removed).
I finally got the opportunity to get the Error Codes and they indicated there was a "open or closed circuit" for all four rear sensors - which to me said wiring.
After a lot of tracing wiring which involved removing a rear wheel I found the problem and it was not what I was expecting.
Turns out that at some time the rear parking sensor beeper had been disconnected (unplugged) and reconnecting that solved my problem.
Removing the wheel helped me sort this out but only by the fact that the beeper is fitted in the panel behind the vehicle jack and I could see the empty plug socket. However I did not notice this until after I had removed the wheel, the plastic panel inside the guard above the wheel, checking the wiring and replacing it all.
