    T5 Highline Drivers Mirror

    Hi All,

My 2005 Highline mirror popped out of it's housing. The mirror has a bracket on the back, and is connected to the mirror mechanism by a cable to power the defrosting heater. Does anyone know how I can pop the bracket back into the housing? It isn't easy to locate the bracket into the appropriate position without being able to see the back mating bracket. Do I have to take the mirror housing apart? There's two screws at the bottom of the main housing which appear to be the only bits I can get to.

    Cheers,

Mine "popped out" when it wiped out by an oncoming truck on a narrow bridge.
It should just pop back in.
Line the mirror up with housing the gently push around the centre where the mounting ring is. You should feel it click into place.
Mines stayed in for 6 months now with no problems.
