I just bought some H7 headlight globes for my 2015 T5 based on the power globes vehicle selector recommendation.
When I went to put them in, my van actually has H4 globes.
All the forums I've read say H7 and I have checked several other vehicle selectors and all of them recommend H7.
Power Globes will refund or replace but I don't want them to change their selector to H4 if it's not correct.
Can anyone explain why I have H4 globes and not H7? What do other have in late model T5's?

I just replaced our headlights in our T5.1 2012 model with Phillips Diamond Vision 5000K H4 12v 60/55 W . Also changed the DRL,s to Response canbus compatible reverse polarity 5730 SMD Led,s . So much better than stock . $110 for the mains $46 for the DRL,s
I did see those Diamond Vision, but it said for off road only, so i thought id give these Phillips 130+ a go first,
Not sure why VW continues to provide H4, as the cost of the H7 headlights wouldn't be much, i would have taken up the LED light option if there was an LED light Option.
We have a 2014 Honda Jazz for running around the city and it has LED lights, huge difference between the two.

Nothing on the box to say not for on road use I have the box on the PC and checked every bit of writing even the non English stuff !!
I was under the understanding that it doesn't have Homologation ECE which meant it wasn't legal, and i did read that it was for off road use from were i brought mine from.

I did notice the Extreme vision Plus 130 does have ECE homologation.
At the end of the day, if it improves seeing at night then you have to be happy with that.

Power Bulbs sent out H4's at no extra cost. The H7's are on eBay with no reserve if any Multivan owners are interested.

Longevity would definitely be a consideration if I'm to keep running them.
Even though I always carry spares, I can't remember ever having to replace a bulb. Luck?
