I'd be interested in what they give you as a replacement. Did you have a nav unit or just music??

It's an expensive story - I originally wanted the rear camera (something like a $300 option) However, when I said that they said I had to have the sat nav at $3000 to get the LCD screen

I've gone with a Garmin Nuvi 660 sitting on a friction mount in the dash tray.

Power and external GPS antenna wiring is routed to the tray - so no dangly bits. The Nuvi has a great user interface.

Head unit is an Alpine W202E running a rear vision camera.

If you want one integrated solution (AV, GPS, DVD, camera) Eclipse do a couple options around the $2K mark.

    Cheers, MM

    Hi, everyone
Just bought Navman S90i - very nice unit, many features but screen not as bright as Nuvi 660 i've bought for my daughter's GolfV. Screen in Navman has more usefull information on the screen and give you warning when close to red light and safety cameras. Here is the link.
