T5 fan speed

The in cabin fan controller on my 08 t5 now only works on full speed, is this likely just the dial? Is it as simple as just replacing it or is likely to be a motor winding etc?

Any help would be appreciated

No if it only works on full speed its the resistor at fault.

Where would said resistor located?

look under thr glovebox area and find the fan blower and tgen you should see the resistor block more towards the middle of the airbox.
