Done as instructed and coded (it accepted the coding) but I have no response from the wheel. Not even the little lights embedded in the buttons come on....

If all is installed correctly (even without any BCM coding) then the little lights in the wheel buttons will come on when you turn on the light switch. If not then either:
    - 12V+ isn't present at the connector
    - the LIN bus wire isn't connected properly between the BCM and wheel connector
    - the airbag/switch harness isn't correctly connected in the wheel - the little black connector has to be attached to the little black box computer inside the wheel behind the airbag.
    - the little black box in the wheel is broken.
    - the switch modules aren't correctly connected to the little black box in the wheel (double check these, they were loose on mine when the wheel arrived from the USA...)

Ps my wheel is a later model so it doesn't have a module inside the wheel, the buttons are connected by one continuos ribbon (I've seen some wheels with each button having a ribbon connection to a middle module inside the wheel).

One thing to check is correct pin placement they are very easy to get one place out of alignment , I know when I fitted cruise control the numbers are murderous to see .

Wait, WHAT? Then how do the buttons connect to the LIN bus? Where do you connect the other end of the airbag harness inside the wheel? Under one of the modules?

I have only ever seen one big yellow end that goes in through that big hole in the centre top into slip ring, and on the other end one plug for the airbag, one pin for the horn around the airbag, and one little black plug going into the module.

Yes of course there is a yellow connecter to the back of the clockspring but the button control come from a black rectangular connector which plugs behind the left button

Also the horn stopped working, so I'm starting to suspect the airbag loom...
