T5 driver & passenger door dissassembly instructions
Hi forum
I have dead switches on both doors & I am looking for instructions on disassembly.
Drivers side remote clockworks off key but not remote. Passenger side unlock activates but wont raise lock until lots of attempts.
Also, I have found these door mechanisms on eBay. Anybody used one?
cheers in advance.

You seem to have faults with the actuators which open the locks , using the key just manually opens the lock as normally it works electronically by the remote . Now one more thing to check there is a series of connectors under the drivers seat one of them is for the door locks , there are reports of corrosion on the pins due to moisture getting into the plugs , ours was growing a nice green fuzzy growth which was affecting the operation . Jaycar have a contact cleaner and lubricant spray to put on them after the cleaner worth a look first . Now to remove the trim is not too hard but once the trim is off the fun really begins , remove the top cover of the door pull two torque screws in there , then there are a couple more screws at the very bottom of the trim and another part way up the trim just under the pocket . once they are out you can use a trim remover tool or just pull the door trim away from the bottom first . The trim plugs are pretty tough so don't be scared to pull hard , now once the bottom is off you pull the trim upwards to unclip it from the window inner seal . BE careful next as there is the door pull cable attached to handle lever the cable unclips but try and study it so as not to break the mount . The window buttons can be released from the trim and pop down through the hole . Now once the trim is off you have to remove the inner metal cover to get access to the lock . Now the real fun begins .Please browse this link on the Forum you will find an external link to an English site part way down check that and then read the rest of the main posting I put up at the time .Door lock deadlock release T5 2005
