VAGCOM is the interface between the ECU and a programming device, like a laptop.

Details on this are available from here. Ross-Tech: Home

Hi again, I just tried the "JustAnswer" option. Out of curiosity as much as anything I think.
I simply asked if the two centre detectors could be removed to facilitate a nudge bar.
    The response was:
"You cannot disable the two centre sensors.
I would fit a different type of system that uses radio wave rather than ultrasonics."

I am expected to pay $22 for that! I expect I can do a lot better than that on VWwatercooled! The bloke obviously has no idea of the implications.
    cheers

So Ive had a customer ask me about a full wrap around bullbar for a facelift T5 . Ive asked around and no-one seems to sell them . I tried a few links posted on here and they dont work . Anyone have any idea who makes them or is going to release them soon ?

I use a Formula Offroad bull bar Type 51 - full bumper bar replacement unit. It is well made and fits well. I optioned two cutouts for Hella DRLs.

Has anyone had any recent luck fitting a bull bar to the new Multivan?
Have tried all that have been listed here except Qld Bullbars and they all say that they can do a Transporter but not a Multivan but a salesman in Brisbane assures me that a bullbar manufacturer in Brisbane makes a bumper replacement bar that still allows the use of the sensors(refitted in the bar)and he would email through pictures (probably three weeks ago now).
