T5 auto transmission

Hi Wondering if anybody knows where I could get a Transmission auto for my 2009 Multivan code KFG or anybody know whether a trans out of a 04 T5 code HCE will fit

I don,t think VW changed the auto for the first T5 range , although the different engine options may make a difference . Is yours a 2.5 Turbo Diesel or a smaller engine .

Only the VR6 and 2.5 TDI got the auto.

1.9 TDI certainly didn't, and I'm pretty sure the 2L petrol didn't either.

As long as the gearbox is from the same family - 09K, and is the same as far as FWD/AWD goes, it should physically bolt up. Whether the engine ECU communicates with it or not, is probably a bit of a gamble.

a wrecker has a JUM code box from a 08 but will it work

Just be carefull as there is some internal ratio differences that if fitted to the wrong vehicle will lead to shift complaints and error codes
