just dreaming at the moment but looking at various UK websites on accessories there are wood grain dash panels & grill add on they appear to stick on. How would this sticky backing esp on the walnut dash panelling handle the aussie summers.

Should be no issue as long as you clean the surface properly prior to adhering them.
I'm thinking about it as well.

The first thing i did after getting my T4 Caravelle was rip the lot off.

In fact my wife remembers me pealing the stuff off as i sat at the traffic lights.

I personally diss like the stuff but for your info the bloke put the stuff on 4 years before and thought it was a good selling point

So it should stick like the brown stuff to a blanket and will make you happy for years to come.

yeah these are alright as long as you clean the surface well before sticking. worst case, should they fall off, you can stick them back on with 3m or similar
