    T5. 4motion slave cylinder replacement

Ok so she’s in pieces after constant loss of clutch pedal. Replaced clutch master bread many times. Clutch comes back but after a drive goes again. Replaced breather and o rings So must be slave cylinder right. ( concentric clutch release bearing. ) Big job -
    subframe off
    dpf out
    drive shafts off
    prop shaft off
    gear link off
fuel filter and coolant resivoir out of way
    starter off
undoing transmission bolts now. Yes found the 1bastard one between block and top of transfer case and a couple of other ones that the engineers would be funny to hide and lower left side of motor after removing mount

Mechanic said take out bevel box (transfer ) case off with transmission. Don’t seperate Right ? I t will be heavy.
so I guess no need to undo hex inside right drive shaft through transfer case ?

Beyond no return does this sound correct ?
Advice appreciated as info very hard to find for 4 motion

Thanks but it doesn’t. So any have gearbox and engine just separated by 1cm but to heavy and awkward to move so will probably take transfer case off before I take gearbox off
