The left sliding door does not open or close without force. The electrics have failed, the cables are intact (although they maybe stretched due to manual operation), the middle height adjustment maybe an issue (because of cable replacement), the fuses are intact and the door switch contacts are clean. I've read in other forums that the PCB becomes corroded causing them to fail until they are replaced. I've looked for the location of these boards in the left inside around the jack (there are a few wires, plugs (red, beige, yellow) and sockets towards the back) and also in the right around the rear heater fan unit (nothing visible). Where should I be looking for these boards?

The forum does seem a bit quiet! One of my sliding doors has failed a while ago. I bink with mine the problem seems to be the outside handle not triggering an electrical response. If you pull the outside handle halfway there should be a bit of resistance from engaging the little lever inside the door that the outside handle pulls on.
I’ve just bought an actuator from a wrecked T6. I’m hoping to fit the part tomorrow, I will post result and will take a few diy photos as well.
The replacement actuator fixed the door on mine !
I'd expect there's no user-serviceable components in the actuator?
No not really. About $500 new, paid $250 from wrecker
