Hi
So my vans VIN says it tow ready. I've just bought a Hays tow bar kit with the wiring.
What would I need to get to use the VW harness already located in the back?
I find It handy when reversing trailer around a corner, can see the drawbar and make tight turns without jacknifing.
Also as I run an adaptor if I plug the wire into the van without the trailer connected, no sensors but camera to see towball and hitch. Can line it up on my own first time everytime.
I also forgot that when parked with a trailer pluged in if i lock the bus, the alarm will go off if trailer is unpluged

Only the VW kit works with the factory wiring.
Thank you
Does anyone have the part number of just the end section or know where I can get it?
Don't really want to buy the full harness just for the end.

You can only buy the full kit. There's no seperate part number for the short section.
Last time I checked the harness was around $600 from VW .
Hi Team
Just rehashing this thread, does any one know the actual coding required for the towbar install?
It a T6, but I think it's the same from the T5.
Thanks
