A/C flush is not part of the service schedule. It's just an up-sell.
Make sure you mention what engine/driveline combination you have, and what was done in the service before quoting prices.
Sorry if there is already a similar thread, but can someone shed some light on the expected service costs at the regular 15000 intervals.
My 2010 T5 103kw TDI DSG just went in for the 60000 service and was verbally quoted around $1050. then they called and added in the a/c flush for an extra $250 plus wipers $80
If the ac flush is standard at 60k/4 years shouldn't that be included?
Can we compile a list of service charges and see what's the norm and when we are getting shafted?

and this post by my from another thread:
If you have the DSG, make sure they replace the DSG oil filter. It is not in the service schedule, but there is no schedule to change this filter on the transporters. It will not last a lifetime. If you are spending all that money on new oil for the DSG, why run it through an old dirty filter???The total for the 60,000km service including the DSG filter, DSG service, cabin filter etc....... came to $1104.10.
Yeah I got them to do the DSG oil filter when it was in having the mechatronics unit replaced under warranty.... They had to do something while they had it for 21 days
Thanks IN2VWS for the link, I knew I has seen a thread somewhere but my search did not prove fruitful... Was using wrong words!

Ummm did I see correctly yours has had the dreaded mechatronics go already ? What sort of symptons did it display as most of the guys on here already know how I feel about VW technology with their auto's and most have reassured me that the DSG 500 is okay , apparently not supposed to have the same issues as the other smaller versions .
Sunny43.5 most of the info is in the other thread you commented in.
