T5.1/GP (2011) CFCA BiTDI Oil filter - screw-on or cartridge??

Hi guys! I went to VW parts to get an oil filter for a 2011 T5.2 (GP) facelift Multivan with the BiTurbo engine (CFCA engine code) using it's VIN number, and they give me a cartridge filter even though the one on there is a screw-on type!

I argued that I needed a screw-on type, and he said they all use the cartridge type now. Then he printed off a page from his ETKA, and the picture shows the screw-on type that I need! (see image below) The parts interpreter just said 'yeah the ETKA picture is wrong'. Huh?????

The part he gave me is 03L 115 562

My filter does not have a plastic cover with the 32mm hex nut ... it's a standard metal screw on type like cars have been using since the 1950's.

Does anyone know the part number for the screw-on type filter for the T5.2?

    Thank you!

    Nevermind I found it, it's: 03L 115 561

    Looks like this one.

Seems like you can also get bigger versions, see here.

Part numbers for the bigger ('long life') one: 068 115 561 (B or F, the B is a tiny bit bigger by 2mm)
Part number for the huge one: 074 115 561

Jmac put one of the nice big longlife filters on my mk4 Golf last year, I always wondered where he got the big one when all VW would ever give me is the small one Kudos.

I could see it if I pulled it off but then I can't drive the car Anyway I found the part number(s) see above, I might go for the bigger 'long life' version, because bigger=better, right?

I did the oil change on the T5.2/GP biturbo, was easy as piss, didn't even need to jack the van up: 6x13mm bolts to remove the plastic underbody tray, my $10 8-Litre oil tray from supercheap fit perfectly under the sump plug, and the screw-on oil filter is easily accessible at the top front of the engine. Undoing the oil filter didn't even spill a drop of oil thanks to the upright orientation of the filter (and/or non-return valve)! Filled with 7.5L of Mobil 1 5W30 ESP VW507.00 approved oil picked up in Melbourne from this guy.
