    T4 Transporter upper control arm/wishbone

    Hi All

Am currently working my way through front suspension and was wondering if anyone has changed the bushes in the upper control arm. Have watched an aotodoc video where he is doing it from head height on a hoist and it looked like a nightmare, I hate to think what it would be like with the van just on jack stands. I have ordered the bushes and done the lower wishbone, lower ball joint, sway bar links and bushes and tie rod ends but now I want to do the upper ball joint and upper wishbone bushes. Anyone done this and encounter any issues. Thanks.

Hi mate, I had a go at my ute, I was able to get the drivers side loose but not the pass, it's super tight. Thankfully the bushes are like new. Mind you the drivers side was missing the front bolt all together.
With the exhaust removed, the drivers side is much easier as you don't need such long extensions. I don't have a hoist, but it may make life much easier.
