As you can see here, the screws have a different length and two differently shaped plastic bits (round opposed to wedge(?) shaped). The black plastic end bit is the same on both. Really makes you wonder why they used two different parts here....
I was at the spares counter today & asked on your behalf about these parts. The black plastic parts are available individually[item 5 on illustration 941-30 on ETKA] The lower screw with the white plastic threaded part is also available[item 6] If you need the top screw & other white plastic "wedge" you will need to buy the frame, item 2[$$$$$$$]

I cleaned my EGR valve the other day, probably the first in its life at just over 122,000km. There was a fair coating inside but it cleaned up like new. I didn't clean the inlet manifold because i have read it's a nightmare & I thought bits of crud could easily fall into the ports on the head & cause problems. I removed the stainless pipe from the exhaust manifold to take a look & see how hard it is to get the 6mm key into socket head cap screws holding the the inlet manifold on & decided not to go any further. I didn't blank of the EGR because I wasn't ready for it & I don't want to introduce any problems. From what I have read, the EGR may not clog as quickly with the low sulphur fuel. I also drive in a manner to reduce the black soot from the exhaust.[read less loud pedal]

Here's some more trivia for you & your wife.
Have you noticed the 4 black lines[around 10mm long] set in the windscreen? They are for setting the position of the wiper arms when reinstalling. They cover both LH & RHD.

It might be to you but it took my son to point them out to me. After about 6 years of ownership of T4s I hadn't ever noticed them.

They look a bit 'aftermarket' and the seller is possibly Asian, but they appear to be pretty solid and arrived in time. Anyway both were about 10x cheaper than what I would have had to pay in OZ for.
Sounds like you had a win. Pleased to see the aftermarket guys are filling a need. At the back of my mind I am aware that a lot of spares for T4 will dry up as our vans get older. VW will want us to bin our "old" vans & step up into a new T5.

My EGR didn't look quite as dirty as yours so maybe yours hasn't been cleaned before either. Was the foam covering your inlet still intact or was it coming apart like mine?

    Needs modding!!!!!
I've the same airbox in my June 2001 build TDi....never really had an issue with it. What's different in the EU and why would it be better/more effective?

As for the EGR....mine has never been touched. I wonder what it looks like?
