    HELP....T4 transporter centre console removal

    Hey peoples...
I've just brought a 94 T4 2.5 Petrol to do up as my Mx Transporter (hence the name..lol)
I've been tinkering with it already.. and been scrolling through the forums as well as other sites..to find it but without much luck.

Here is the question.... how do I remove the centre console trim without having to take the whole dash out...?

I've removed all the controls and air vents as well as the screws etc...
I know the support beam is in the way but what has me stumped is it feels like the lower section also clipped on...

I would post a picture but dont know how to do it...working off my phone anyways...

Help on this would be great on both fronts... removing the console and uploading pictures...lol

    Thanks in advance.

The lower section is indeed clipped on. If I recall correctly...the trim clips into a receiver on the frame underneath it. If you use the Tapatalk app on the phone it will host photos for you...

If its the grey part then yes the whole dash has to be removed , or is it the black part ? Link here shows the dash eviscerated like a gutted animal .photos of VW Transporter T4 dash board - Google Search

We rarely used his until after he got his license so we used our Family T5 to go to races etc , I fitted some tie downs at a later date .
On the way home from Kilcoy Races he was only just 16 no learners at this time , scared dad in passengers seat .
