    T4 Rad fans always on

I just noticed that the Rad fans come on as soon as the key is turned ... even when 5deg outside. Where to start looking?

    T4 Cooling fans

    About the cooling fans:
Check that they are not ON whenever the interior (heater) fan is on as is the case with my T4.
This is obviously an error and slackness by the Australian fitters of the Air Conditioning.
The correct operation should be ON when the engine is hot, one fan ON when the air conditioning is on. This ensures some air flow through the air conditioning condensor.

Jets kindly provided me the wiring diagram but I have not yet had a good look to fix this problem.
It is worth fixing as the warm up time is extended when the cooling fan is on. This increases emissions and engine wear and reduces comfort inside particularly on cold mornings.

Any good auto electrician will be able to solve this.

    Cheers,

    Farm Syncro

Hi, new member here, looking for some help. I have recently bought a 2003 TDI SWB syncro, slowly working my way through maintenance issues. Current one is non working air con. I was hoping that Jets or Farmsyncro might be able to send me a copy of the wiring diagram mentioned above.

    cheers,

    Brewer.
