Hello everybody.. just wondering if you got this fixed DVR68U? I'm a 2L petrol owner in the UK and there aren't that many of us hence I've found you lot!
If so what was the solution?

When that happens it points a finger at the Lambda probe. Before the motor warms up it doesn't look at the probe for mixture information.

As soon as it hits the right temp which takes it out of the cold start cycle. That's probably when it runs rich and stalls.

Brenton changed the engine wiring harness on this van after trying everything else. The harness always looked a bit ratty to me. Since he changed the harness, many ks of trouble free motoring.

So is the diagnosis a poor electrical connection ? (somewhere in the "ratty" wiring harness which was replaced )

hey sorry guys for not seeing your posts, yeah i changed the loom for another one in good shape and it seemed there must have been a bad connect/break/increased resistance in some of the wires in the loom throwing off the signals . so once i changed the loom the van started first go. the symptons i was seeing before this happen was it alway took 2 goes to start the car. and then once it got worse that car wouldnt start and when it would the van ran super rich and blew thick black smoke lol. and filled the oil with petrol.
hope this helps you guys any q's just ask
