This is normal provided you have stock wheels/tyres. Just about every car has a speedo that reads higher then the actual road speed. There is an ADR which iirc states a max 10% error is allowed however it cannot give you an under estimation, ie show 100 when you're really doing 100+km/hr.

Mines out as well, so when it was reading 194km/h on Saturday afternoon at the race track I was only doing 190 according to the GPSWho said vans had to be slow!

Please fill us in, with some details...eg. how much road does it take to get to 194 aka 190km/hr. I still remember the "rather good sort" Victoria Butler-Henderson roadtesting on 5th Gear a T5 Sportline vs Vito around a track with the outpowered T5 running better times due to active safety devices taking over in the Vito.
