Sliding Seats

ok, i know its a newbie asking the question everybody knows the answer to, i have searched but i just cant make the connection and find what i need to ask, so

i have a T5 X NSW Ambulance, LWB 4 motion, nothing surprising that,
but i am aiming to fit the multivan rails and 3 seat bench seat, i am in possession of the:
1. the rails
2. the floor
3. the seats, plus the 2 matching fronts (another post coming ref air bags)
4. various nuts and bolts (square heads for the rails)

as it was stripped out of 1 multivan i am fairly confident i have all the bits and i know i need to drop various panels underneath
the questions are:
1. i have no brackets to provide load spread underneath where the bolts go, so should i have some or is it fitted with them?
2. is it that difficult to work out where the rails sit to align with where i should bolt through?
3. the existing floor looks like it is a sheet of ply with a lino cover and the ply looks like it is screwed to the floor pan of the van, is this normal?
4. given its a lwb and the set came out of a swb will there be any alignment issue of the rails, i know the floor is short and wrong shape for a lwb but i needed to get on with this

if this is answered somewhere just point me and i will be happy!!

Welcome to the Forum , okay from my experience there are some things you will need to sort out . The floor your van would most likely have been based on a standard LWB Transporter with no pre fitted mounts for any seats or rails in the back . I doubt NSW ambulance would have bothered buying vans with all the extras if they were refitting them . Now the best suggestion is to remove the existing floor as it would have been fitted by the conversion company . Once that's out you can then start to work out the best places for the rails and seats as you will be able to see the weld points for the chassis rails and other reinforcements . When you bolt the rails in make sure to use high tensile bolts and reinforcing plates if you look here it will give you some guide lines for what you are doing https://www.infrastructure.gov.au/ro...f/vsb_05_b.pdf It is for extra seats but same rules will apply , You should consider getting an engineers report on the final job for certification reasons .
