Good work.
I had to change an alternator (not an easy task).........and then six months later I had to change the tensioner!
I realised then that the tensioner would be EASY! with the alternator out.

If I'm ever mucking about in that area with something else, I change the belt just to be sure.
It's a real pain if that goes out and about.
I've found that you can only get about 20kms once the alternator stops working.
