    Seats and torque settings

    Hello,

I'm working on some ICE modifications on my T5.2, and need to remove the seats from their base -- ie, I will remove the seats from the rails they are on.

When I reattach the seats, what torque setting should I use?

    Thank you in advance!

Just note how tight they are to undo and put them back similar - that's what most mechanics do.

Sorry if that's not helpful but that's all i did when i took my seats out of the Octavia - noted they didn't require much grunt to undo & tightened them to a firm nip - it was probably 40Nm.

As the other guys have said - don't worry about torque specs. Just do them up nice and tight. I've had the seats out of my Mk6 Golf several times and had no issues.
