Replacing T5 plastic and metal bash guards

Today I stuck my head under my van after dropping something on the ground... Only to find a big chunk of my plastic underbody guards are torn off the van and the metal covers over the exhaust twisted and gnarled, don't ever remember hitting anything at all. I'll try to get some pics and determine how old the damage is, but any idea what I'd be up for to replace the parts or an alternate solution?

I believe Brown Davis in Melbourne does a steel, or aluminium belly pan.

Check and see if you have a diesel fuel cooler under the Passengers side ours got holed by a stone thrown up from the road , only place under the van that was not protected .

They'll do a steel or aluminium anything, under any vehicle
They made an additional 50 litre tank under the floor of my 2004 TDI Transporter
Custom made to accommodate everything under the floor and you wouldn't have know it was there
Good work, but he can be a bit cranky at times (actually a lot cranky all the time!)

Ouch. Unless you have a very powerful stereo in yours, you should hear that stuff breaking up. I went over a small branch and when it tapped the plastic floor, I had to pull over and look under to make sure that the fuel tank was in one piece, to my relieve there was only the surface abrasion.

I had the exact thing happen to mine a few months back. The cause - I hit a puddle of water at 100ks on the highway - it ripped the whole cover down around the exhaust bit towards the front. Took out all the plastic covers. According to the dealer it happens often. My answer poorly designed product "for it to happen all the time".. just add that expense to the things that I seem to replace.
