Renewing rubber inner axle boot on 2002 T4

Can the axle be removed without removing the suspension as well to replace torn front left hand inner axle boot on auto 2.5 diesel? Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes you can my friend. Loosen the driveshaft hub bolt on the ground 1st. Then raise the vehicle take off the wheel. Relieve the torsion bar marking it 1st. Loosen the driveshaft flange bolts at the gearbox. Then take ou the 2 bolts that hold on the bottom ball joint. Remove shaft from the vehicle and fit the boot to the shaft when its supported in the vice. Refit in reverse order

Understand how it works, troubleshoot logically BEFORE replacing parts.
