This one came up today not sure if its been posted before but WOW what a beautiful resto and not bad price either , the seller was pretty stunned at the final sale price . I wonder if our current style will ever reach these dizzying prices in the future .This 21 window 1963 VW Kombi van... - FAMOUS for Car & Bike Enthusiasts

If I remember correctly, that model with the large blinkers had the "big block" 1.5 litre engine, perfect for towing the 14 ft caravan.
Understand how it works, troubleshoot logically BEFORE replacing parts.

I got my driver's license in this one, my father's 1962 deluxe microbus, unusual in that it was a walkthrough, we were told when he bought
it that was one of three walkthroughs imported into Australia. I used to drive it almost every day. My father ended up fitting a 356 1600
Super into it. Don't ask where it is now, I don't know.

Photo is while on one of our prospecting / shooting trips.
