quick post for the t4 love

hey guys i jumped in my van last wed night and drove down to melb and got back friday. i just wanted to say i love my van and the fact that i can do that so easily. first night i slept in the back with a mate , then the 2nd night once i had my motorbike in the back i slept in the back next to that and my mate on the passanger seat haha. he was so amazed at the fact that the seat reclined so far back , reckoned it was the best sleep he had in years. we decided not to stay down in vic due to the extreme heat and fire danger on the fri night and just drove home at night. and im glad we made that desicion as we all know what has happened in vic
but i did 2500kms in just over 2 days and had a ball, dont know of many cars that are able to be driven such distances with out any discomfort.

gotta love the t4's and i got 8.8l/100 from my 2l petrol

Before I bought my first T4, I spoke to Maris[WEDEL.1] He told me that his was the best car he had ever owned.[don't know why he sold it though]
I am now on my second [more bells & whistles than the first] & intend to keep it until I am too old to drive. I love my T4 more than my Mk5 TDI Golf which is a brilliant car. There's something about the T4 that gets you in. Because mine is a camper it is extremely versatile, carry loads of stuff yet footprint is the same as other cars, pleasant to drive, solid, well engineered, long lasting, powerfull, economical, cruise all day at the speed limit & step out at the end without pain in your back & legs. I have to say that in Aust. they are very underated compared with the UK.

they sure are get vans, id say they are great cars. they handle so much better then the jap vans its amazing lol . the t4 will prob be the closest thing to the comfort of a 200,000 dollar semi, ill get to drive on the road. hrs behind the wheel and then just jump out and after about 5 steps im as good as new. and if i get to tired i can just step thru to the back and have a sleep haha.
i dont plan on selling mine its just to good.

    I'm feeling the love.

I fly up to Brisbane on Saturday to pick up my 'new' '97 2.5l and drive it back down to Canberra with my wife. 7 passenger, pop-top, tents, awnings, camping package in the rear. Lovin' it. Hope we make it.

We might just keep on driving.

Not a lot of time for taking photos. The car drove beautifully. It's a little rough around the edges in spots, but overall pretty good. First thing to do is fix the A/C then dream about replacing springs, shocks, wheels and tyres and winding up the torsion bars (then probably replace cv joints).

Tell me again why did I this!?
