    Queries on wheel/tyre fitment - VAG for T5 17"

I'm still unsure where to head with regards to new wheels and tyres. i was keen on getting them from OS but have been thinking of perhaps using cheaper 2nd hand VAG wheels from other vehicles. has anyone gone down the Toureg/Cayenne route? i saw a few rim options on ebay for 17" or even willing to go for 18" as long as my ride is not too hard and tyres are available.

PORSCHE CAYENNE 17" RIMS WHEELS WINTER OFFROAD SUIT AUDI Q7 TOUAREG VOLKSWAGEN | eBay

17 inch Genuine Porsche Cayenne V6 Wheels - Also fits VW Touareg | eBay

but uncertain if load rating and offset matches, would any of you guys in the know be able to help me here?

    i did find this info:

    Fitment Information:
The specific fitment of the VW Transporter T5 van is as follows:
    PCD (Stud Pattern): 5x120
    ET (Offset Range): 40-55
    Centre Bore: 65.1
    Bolt Requirements: M14x1.5 Radius Seated.

would love to see what others came up with or have done. i've probably got about 8-10K left on my current 16" tyres, so looking seriously now before I run out of time

I searched but didnt find a wheel thread specifically for us Van lovers... every other section has a wheel sticky

also has anyone used tirerack or roadandrace for van wheels or tyres?

my tyre placard gives me this info
    16x6.5 - 205/65 R16C 103/101T
    16x6.5 215/65 R61C 102/100T
    16x7 - 235/60 R16 104T
    17x7.5 or 7 - 235/55 R17 103T
    18x8 - 255/45 R18 103T

There is thread somewhere in this section with the same discussion. Just from memory, someone also used the wheels from the Commodore.
    The X5 wheels fit too.

I can still supply correct T5 specific wheels from AZEV and Ronal...

    Cayennes and Q7's are 5x130PCD not 5x120

AZEV actually make the Type R for the limited edition T5. I can do the 8.5x18 Type R in crystal silver for $550 each shipped.

I can do the Type M and Type P in 8.5x18 for $440 each shipped.

These are made by AZEV in Germany for the T5..

Only Ronal can do 17's for it.AZEV is 18 and 19" only.

I now deal with Ronal directly and can work out pricing.

Have you checked out out Startseite

those are some stunning wheel lewis, would love a set like the LE25 .. but it's gonna cost about 1700-2200 compared to under under 1000 for O/S supply. i still have to get tyres too.

    looking at maybe this
18" VW TRANSPORTER 03> T5 MULTI VAN GUNMETAL POLISHED ALLOY WHEELS 5x120 | eBay

    this (similar to LE25)
    4x BK525 17" Alloy Wheels & Tyres Vw Transporter T5 5x120 225 55 17 x4 | eBay

kind of trying to narrow it down.
