Prices justkampersaustralia swivel seat base
Is it me or are the prices at justkampers Australia extortionate?
Looking for a T5 passenger swivel seat plate.
Has anyone shipped stuff from the UK - where prices are radically less!

Hey Zebt
I have to disagree i spent days looking os & shiping from UK is super expensive and UK prices is £155.00 so when i found Swivel Seat Base here at just kampers for AUD $299.26 I was wraped and brought two sets . Sportscraft brand were the ones I wanted os German made full complience tested and by far the best mod I have made to my van they are fantastic and are solid as and do not shake or move very heavy duty about 20kg each , Trakka will charge you $800 each fitted , you will need a 10mm 12 point Torx spline driver I used a 6 point from Repco cost about $4.
they have just receiced stock and my 4th one is in transit now i recon they will sell fast now that I have given such a good plug

Top dog, you may be correct, I guess it just depends on exchange rates etc and shipping them is expensive due to the weight. However alot of other products on the website are way overpriced and can be sourced a lot cheaper around oz, thanks for your advice though.
Tewbacca, cheers, have asked them for a quote.

Really, if you don't like the prices they offer, then don't shop there. No need to go on a forum and bash them because you don't like their prices.
Many people do shop with them, and are happy with them.
Sorry, I just don't like it when people jump onto forums to whinge about prices and name that business.....obviously you have a vendetta against them. Get over it and buy your bits from overseas or wherever you want to.

IN2VWS, fair comment, I just like to shop around and see a level playing field, I think the crux of it is the sourcing, and as pointed out it's not always easy to get things wholesale in Oz which of course puts the prices up. My company retails worldwide, due to the strong oz dollar we are able to offer very good prices within oz but not so good overseas, a few years ago this was the reverse, I guess what I hope is that as purchasing power is now in our hands (Oz) then it would be nice to pass it on within Oz, not always the case with some companies. On the flip side the freight and customs logistics are costly for these companies so that does push the price up a bit I guess. I have shopped a great deal at justkampers did a full conversion on a Hiace and a T4 with lots of their stuff and their service is great, always helpful and on time etc so I don't have a vendetta in any way was just hoping to see prices drop a bit with the super strong dollar.
