Pioneer AV 9000 GPS in Beach

I've just had a Pioneer AVIC 9000 GPS, DVD, reversing camera etc, fitted to my 08 Beach.
Touch screen response is SLOW, using the tuner requires multiple touches for some functions previously needing only one button press (turning the radio off for example, two touches required).
And there is a BUILT-IN BARKING DOG SOUND which occurs intermitently over the top of CDs and radio. Installers and assorted hi fi techs consulted are baffled by this one.
Has anyone reading got one of these units, and if so, can you enlighten me on any of the above.
Oh yeah, I know this should go in the classifieds but I have the virtually unused Blaupunkt CD/radio dash unit from the 08 Beach for sale.
PM me and we'll figure a price.

    Cheers, Newc

    1. Post ad in audio section . . . OK.

    2. Yep, 08 on compl. plate.

    3. Pics to follow. Wife won't stop driving it. Awesome Auto after '97 man. Caravelle.

    4. Pioneer system is an AVIC 900F something, not a 9000 as previously stated by me!

Would that be the Pioneer AVIC F900BT?

Have you spoken with Pioneer directly?

Apart from your very strange problem what's the screen like in light, ie glare etc. as I was looking at this unit and some of the major competitors.

Yes, it's the F900BT and no, I haven't spoken with Pioneer yet, only the JB HI FI installers. They think it probably just needs the latest software update (CD loadable) but I'll inquire further.
Screen glare as applied to the T5 dash angle is not a BIG problem with this unit but a small shade/cover would darken the screen a bit and satisfy some better.
Will put pics up when I get time.

Look forward to the photo's. If you could include some showing the reverse camera install that would be great.
