I'm interested in an answer to this as we'll
But thinking if you want more performance, it will use more fuel , or you switch it to best economy, then have less performance than standard therefore saving fuel????
    Riche..

Heaps of scope in VW diesels for more power, and better economy.

    Naturally, the trade-off is emissions.

This. You can usually get more power and torque, and the way it gets used in every day driving means less fuel is used. Of course, if you're up it all day, ignore my comments.
The emissions are the trade off, look at the number of current rangers and navaras belching black smoke, they aren't like that from the factory...

I got my 2011 T5 Multivan 103kw remapped and got more power and better fuel economy.
Worth the cost as is was proven on a Dyno.

Purchase a Viezu Switch with software from Viezu.com (located in UK) and you can install the tuning software to your ECM chip yourself.
I installed software to my 2013 VW Amarok Highline and it has made very nice improvements to fuel economy, KWs and Torque. With my purchase, I received two tune files. One was optimum fuel economy and power, while the other was straight performance. Well worth the price. Do a search for your vehicle on their web site. Cheers from Wolfsburg

Visited the site. Interesting way the Poms measure things. Power in Horsepower & torque in Newton Meters. Took a while picking that.

What would I do with 480 Nm?
