Our Multivan Comfortline was delivered on Thursday, and I've put nearly 1000km on it since then.

First impression it's lovely to drive, very quiet inside and plenty of power for overtaking. I'm still getting used to the stop start engine feature, as my commute is mostly 100km/h cruise control highway I don't use it that often but it and the coasting feature are handy to have. The driver's seat and driving position are quite comfortable although I am still tweaking seat and armrest position.

The thought of regularly getting 1000km to a tank of diesel is quite a nice one.

As my work wouldn't let me lease a Transporter we had to go with a people mover. We show dogs as a hobby, and with the rear seats removed (this process was super easy, the only tool required was a flat blade screwdriver) there's so much room for activities:

Watch this space as I will be building a false floor to store things under and fitting out the back area with cages for our dogs to take on trips away.

The Multivan has more creature comforts for us than the Caravelle would have, and this one was a VAG demonstrator with 6000km on it at 12 months old. The saving off a new vehicle was about 25%.

I am loving the SD card media feature, so many options for tunes while driving. I haven't activated the voice command features yet, neither have I plugged my phone in to explore app connect (that will happen this afternoon).

Overall very happy so far.
